Sponsor a Child

Please consider sponsoring one of our kids. We initially estimated the cost of doing so at $150 based on the experience of another local orphanage. While we did gain some sponsors the cost was enough to cause some potential sponsors away. The good news is that we have now determined based on our actual experience that the cost is much less than anticipated. The cost of sponsoring a child is $85 monthly, a number many may find affordable. That amount provides not only food, shelter and clothing but also includes health insurance and education. Kenya does not have free public education. Our children attend school because we bear the cost of that. We are proud to say that the teachers tell us that our kids are their best students. As we look ahead we anticipate that many of our kids will become eligible to attend college, something that in Kenya is strictly merit based.
